Kentucky Wildcats freshman forward Nerlens Noel injured his knee and had to be carried off the court by his teammates in the second half of Tuesday night's college basketball game against the Florida Gators. With just over eight minutes left in the second half, Noel chased down Florida guard Mike Rosario from behind on a fast break and jumped up in the air to block Rosario's layup attempt. However, Noel landed awkwardly as he tried to put on the brakes before his left knee banged into the basket brace. Noel immediately went down to the floor and could be heard screaming in obvious pain as trainers came to attend to him. Kentucky lost the game to Florida 69-52, but that is a secondary concern after the injury to Noel. No word yet as to the extent of Noel's injury.
