Rick Pitino and the Louisville Cardinals will travel to Hartford, CT., to play their first regular season game in school history as the No. 1 ranked team in the country.  The UConn Huskies are 12-3 overall and 2-1 in Big East play. UConn defeated Notre Dame by a 65-58 score in South Bend and is lead by junior guard Shabazz Napier (17.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg) and sophomore guard Ryan Boatright (16.1 ppg, 4.5 apg). The Huskies resume is pretty strong at this point, despite not being eligible for post-season play. They’ve beaten two ranked opponents this season and all three of their losses have come against teams that have spent at least one week in the top 25. Louisville has a 7-to-6 advantage in the all time series and is a 6 ½ point favorite in tonight’s game.
