Michigan sophomore Jon Horford will miss the rest of the season with a right foot injury.
Wolverines coach John Beilein said Friday that Horford would not play again this season.
The 6-foot-10 Horford hasn't played since Dec. 10, but Beilein had previously stopped short of ruling out a return. Horford played in nine games, starting one. He averaged 2.7 points and 10.8 minutes...

Michigan's Trey Burke likely in line for Big Ten freshman of the year
Despite contending for the Big Ten title, Michigan is not loaded with potential conference award winners. The most likely candidate is Trey Burke, who has become No. 11 U-M's everyman as a freshman and is battling Indiana's Cody Zeller for Big Ten freshman of the year. Burke is the most reliable player. Even during his off shooting nights, he finds a way to impact the game.
