Kevin Jones led scored 22 points and West Virginia routed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 84-64 Saturday. Darryl ''Truck'' Bryant added 14 points and Deniz Kilicli scored 13 for the Mountaineers (7-2). Jones and Kilicli were particularly impressive in the second half when Jones scored 18 and Kilicli 11. Jones was held out with two fouls for most of the first half, while Kilicli's first-half bench time was based on a coach's decision. With Jones and Kilicli combining to play just 11 minutes in the first half, Corpus Christi kept it close. It trailed 32-28 at the break. Jones, however, was in the lineup as the second half started, and he made the most of it. Chris Hawkins-Mast had 22 points and Terence Jones added 20 for the Islanders (1-7). After a 3 by Terrence Jones pulled Texas A&M-Corpus Christi within four, 35-31, with 18:31 remaining, WVU scored 11 straight.
