Will Jabari Parker return to Duke next year?46% 46%Overall Score Reader Rating: (0 Votes)0%NCAA Tournament – Since the Duke Blue Devils were just eliminated by Mercer 78-71, in the NCAA Tournament, its brings up a loaded question….Will Jabari Parker stay at Duke another year? In what quite possibly could be his last game as a Duke Blue Devil, Parker shot a measly 4-14 from the field, 0-3 on three’s, and had 6 of his 14 points come from the free throw line. It was a bad game all-around. Will Jabari Parker Stay At Duke? It’s a loaded question because it has multiple, logical, answers. The first answer would be NO! Parker should leave after this year because his stock will never be any higher than as it sits today. However, after getting bounced from the Big Dance by Mercer in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, it may actually drop his draft stock value just a bit. Parker’s Duke career couldn’t have started any better. Sure, his team lost to Kansas, but he scored 27 points and added 9 rebounds in his return to the United Center. The rest of Jabari’s freshman year was a bit of a roller coaster and this loss to Mercer is evidence of his inconsistent play. Why Would Parker Stay At Duke? Simple, this loss is probably not the way Parker imagined his college career ending. So, how do you redeem yourself from a embarrassing first round exit? You win the championship with a player you’ve played AAU with in high school. Who is this mystery player Parker could be playing with next year at Duke? Only the #1 player in high school, Jahlil Okafor from Whitney Young High School in Chicago.  Okafor’s also bringing some help with him next year…. What If Parker’s NBA Stock Stays The Same? Even though he had some bad games, Parker still lead the Blue Devils in rebounding and scoring, which is an NBA GM’s ideal small forward stat line. It would be hard to believe that Jabari would pass on a multi-million dollar NBA contract, just for another chance to cut down the nets and have a One Shining Moment experience. As of right now, Parker is still the #2 prospect in NBA draft. ———– Photo credit: nydailynews Author informationDanny SchultzSenior Columnist at Sports MockeryWritten by Danny Schultz - If you have any comments or questions please contact info@sportsmockery.comTwitterFacebookGoogle+The post Will Jabari Parker Stay At Duke? appeared first on Sports Mockery.
