Isaiah Epps pulls a Khem Birch, leaving Pitt
Another entitled freshman has decided that he knows college basketball better than Jamie Dixon, and guard Isaiah Epps has decided he’s going to transfer. Actually, Epps redshirted his true freshman season but after this year he said he wanted to be closer to home. But seeing as how he’s from Jersey, which is only like six hours away, he probably just didn’t like...

Pitt adds 2012 NJ guard Chris Jones
Pitt filled the vacant Khem Birch scholarship last night with news that New Jersey shooting guard Chris Jones committed to Pitt. Pitt was Jones' only major offer. He seems to be a late-bloomer / sleeper type of recruit (via The Recruit Scoop):
On Tuesday, the 2012 6-foot-6 shooting guard from Teaneck in New Jersey verbally committed to Jamie Dixon and the Pitt Panthers.

Khem Birch needs to grow up.
So let me get something straight. Khem Birch calls his former Pitt teammates "self-absorbed" but is upset that they didn't respect him because he was an "All-American?" It's all well and good to exceed at the high school level, but once you move up to the college ranks and don a uniform for your new school, none of that matters anymore.Maybe if Birch...

Birch helps us not miss him…at all
Remember Khem Birch? You know, the McDonald’s All-American that was supposed to be the Pete’s next big thing? The huge forward with a yellow streak in his hair? The kid that cried at practices because they were too physical? The freshman that transferred from Pitt because he didn’t get what he wanted?
Well, he spoke on Pittsburgh radio for the first time since he decided to...

Talking transfers: Khem Birch to UNLV, Jamal Branch says St. John’s
For whatever reason, the initial college decisions for power forward Khem Birch (Pittsburgh) and point guard Jamal Branch (Texas A&M) did not work out this year. Both former top-100 prospects from the 2011 class made the decision to leave their respective schools less than half of the way through their first year of college, and [...]

Pitt Basketball: Freshman Khem Birch Leaves the Pitt Program
Khem Birch brought a lot of hype with him entering his freshman season with the Pitt Panthers basketball team.
Birch was considered one of the best recruits in Pitt history and was one of the highest rated big men in the country. Many viewed Birch as the missing dominant big man that the Panthers have been missing for years.
So far we haven’t seen anything resembling that...

Khem Birch the next Todd Graham?
There has only been one team to ever win the NCAA tournament without a McDonald’s All-American. And if the rumorsin the trees are true, it looks like the Panthers could be losing that magical piece to help them finally get to a Final Four under Jamie Dixon.
Twitter blew up last night with rumors that freshamn Khem Birch might be transferring to Kentucky. If it’s true...
