Temple forward Michael Eric will miss six weeks after injuring his right knee.
The school said Wednesday that Eric, a graduate student, injured his patella in practice on Nov. 25.
Eric, who missed the final 10 games last season due to a fracture of the same patella, ranks fourth on the Owls (3-2) in scoring with a 10.5 average and leads the Atlantic 10 averaging 11.3 rebounds....

Doctor's Visit
Temple coach Fran Dunphy will receive a look into his future Wednesday when he expects to receive medical updates on Michael Eric and Scootie Randall, two starting big men who are out with injuries. Eric suffered a patella injury in Friday's practice and Dunphy is hoping Randall receives clearance to run after knee surgery.
