Meanwhile, over 1,500 students held an impromptu rally on the doorsteps of Joe Paterno’s house chanting for his approval and supporting their favorite coach. Penn Staters are staying strong despite the horrific allegations stemming from Sandusky’s propensity to molest and sodomize boys. During the rally, there were chants of “F— Graham (PSU president)!, Sandusky!” But the crowd did not share the same sentiment about their beloved coach. In fact, the students gathered at the steps of Old Main to protest Paterno’s call for resignation. It is evident the students were not rallying bec...

Justice is Served at Penn State

I still remember seeing Joe Paterno deceive the public. In late June of last year, I was flipping through channels and I happened upon an ESPN special called, “Difference Makers:  Life Lessons with Paterno and Krzyzewski,” a program that was exactly what it sounded like:  Joe Pa and Coach K sitting and talking about morality, coaching, family and ethics from the saintly pedestals...

Column: They did Paterno wrong

The only thing people love more than watching a star claw his way to the top is watching him fall. Their sins were not the same, nor were their fates. But they were all banished to a kind of purgatory...
