Remember when the season began back on September 1st with a exciting night of football? Well after December 3rd the majority of the season is over, save the Army/Navy game next Saturday and bowl season and now it's time to look back with the 5 best plays of the season. Trying to narrow down the choices to just five is tough, but we're going to try. Here we go... 5) Lateral Thinking There are very few things I love more in watching football than a heads-up play. Luckily for me I was able to watch the best 'smart' play this season on Saturday night in the Big Ten championship game. Thanks to Michigan State we got to see a beautiful execution of the hook and ladder. Kirk Cousins threw a short screen to Keith Nichol. Wisconsin threw him to the sideline but before he went out of bounds he handed the ball off to B.J. Cunningham who jumped into the endzone. Plus they tack on a fake extra point just for good measure. Relive the madness right here! 4) Human Highlight Reel...

Les Miles, the head coach for Louisiana State University , stood in the hallway outside his team's locker room after the Tigers' 42-10 ruination of No. 12 Georgia in the Southeastern Conference championship game and was presented with the idea that L.S.U. was in the midst of the greatest season in college football .
''Considering who we beat,''...
It's time for the 2012 Rose Bowl between the Oregon Ducks and the Wisconsin Badgers. The matchup in the Rose Bowl - a game between two top-10 teams and each of which was mentioned in preseason national title talk - is highly thought of. Power vs. Speed. Should be a classic. LaMichael James vs. Montee Ball for all the roses.
The addition of transfer quarterback Russell Wilson and blossoming of running back Montee Ball has transformed what was a very good Wisconsin Badgers offense into the most prolific unit in school history.
This season, the Badgers have scored touchdowns on 61 of their 70 trips to the redzone (.871), including a perfect 5-of-5 in the Big Ten Championship win over...
