 VitalsHeight: 6'3"Weight: 230 poundsPosition: QuarterbackSchool: Miami (Ohio)Class: Senior Collegiate CareerDysert was a four-year starter in his time at Miami, showing solid improvement every season despite a revolving door of coaches.He helped lead the Redhawks to two bowl games, although he missed one through injury, and broke Ben Roethlisberger's school passing record. He was voted 3rd team all-conference in his final year. StrengthsDysert may be considered something of an unknown quantity, but he has some tantalizing qualities for NFL personnel bodies to drool over. Regardless of what level he played at, he's still a four-year starter, something you don't see often enough at the quarterback position in college.He's displayed the ability to make most NFL throws and has a pretty good delivery.No one will ever call him fast, but he's a good athlete who shows some mobility in the pocket and the ability to move the sticks with his feet when plays break down. He has a decent frame, but also has room to add muscle, and has also shown good toughness in the past,  WeaknessesDespite being a three-time team captain, he's not a lead-from-the-front type and doesn't always look confident on the field.While he's mobile in the pocket, the clock in his head runs too fast and he's liable to check down or take off sooner than required.His arm strength is questionable - while he's capable of getting the ball down the field, his ability to squeeze the ball into tight spaces is under question.Small hands = fumbles.The offenses he ran tended toward hitting short passes, so his ability to push down the field on a regular basis has been called into question.Finally, there is also the "level of competition" stigma, and he only operated out of shotgun with the Redhawks. ProjectionHis potential may see him go as high as the second round, but late-third or fourth round is probably more realistic. NFL ComparisonPeople will go with Ben Roethlisberger as a comparison, but I see glaring differences in Dysert's leadership and arm strength. I've also heard Tony Romo, and I can see that as a better match.
