Nittany Lions Den:
As Penn State running back Silas Redd evaluates his options, likely between staying at Penn State and pursuing a BCS championship with USC, fans are sending out messages on-line to try and keep Penn State's leading rusher in State College. While the messages have been mixed between tasteful and hideous, such is the world we live in.
This window message leans toward the more tasteful pleas, and can be found on Atherton Street.
Redd is reportedly visiting USC this weekend after meeting with USC representatives earlier this week in his Connecticut home with his family. A decision could be made on Monday, according to previous reports.

It was surprising to many people [...]

What’s going on this afternoon at the plaza where the Joe Paterno statue was located outside Beaver Stadium? Oh, nothing, it’s just being transformed into green space. Newly minted Illini head Coach Tim Beckman addressed the issue of the day surrounding his program, and the Big Ten conference in general, the Penn State football roster being re-opened for recruiting.

Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema says he has no plans to recruit the players at Penn State.
NCAA sanctions in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal will keep the Nittany Lions out of a bowl game for four years and players are being allowed to transfer to another school and get on the field right away. Penn State coach Bill O'Brien has been working hard to keep the players he has...
“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” (Edmund Burke)
No matter what I read, or who I talk to about the Penn State scandal, my mind keeps coming back to Edmund Burke’s famous words. Historically, Burke is famous for supporting the American Revolution, or at least the cause behind it, and later opposing the French Revolution. None of that...
During a period where Penn State was expected to lose players, the Nittany Lions added a prospect to their 2012 class with an Arizona linebacker.
See what the Penn State head coach had to say in his opening press conference at Big Ten Media Days in Chicago on Thursday.
When Penn State landed a verbal commitment from Northview High (Century, Florida) cornerback Neiko Robinson, one of the keys in Robinson’s mind was the loyalty the Penn State staff showed him throughout the recruiting process.
The challenges facing Penn State football are nothing compared to what the new coach and his wife have endured in real life. Included is a short video of O'Brien talking about his boys. One has a rare brain disease. The other is "healthy as a horse."
