Georgia vs. Georgia Tech: 42-10
-- Georgia put up 14 points in each the first three quarters and shut down Georgia Tech's triple-option offense, the second such offense the Bulldogs faced in consecutive weeks. Todd Gurley, Keith Marshall and Aaron Murray each scored two touchdowns. Georgia began scoring quickly, inspired by Malcom Mitchell's 47-yard return on the opening kickoff. Four plays and three first downs later, the Bulldogs had their first score, and didn't look back.
-- Turnovers cost Georgia Tech a chance at victory. A fumble wasted an 83-yard drive and a turnover on downs ended another drive in Georgia territory. Tech also missed a field goal just before halftime, as they struggled to put points on the board despite moving the ball relatively well. Georgia Tech owned the time of possession, controlling the ball for almost 40 minutes.
-- Murray was close to perfect on the day, completing 1417 passes for 215 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Bulldogs ran for 163 yards, with Gurley gaining 97 on 12 carries and Marshall running for 66 on seven carries.

When Tech Has the Ball
For the 2nd week in a row, the Georgia defense faces the service academy triple option, and they will be tested to play assignment football and be fundamentally sound. Tech is a different animal than GSU in that they will run the offense with bigger and faster players and will likely attempt more passes than the Eagles. As I wrote last week, we need to...
