Down and Distance:
The shocking day of college football continued this afternoon. After Tennessee beat 11th ranked South Carolina and Vanderbilt beat 15th ranked Georgia, 24th ranked Auburn beat 7th overall Texas A&M with a late touchdown. Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel did his best to beat Auburn, putting up 454 passing yards and 48 rushing yards with 5 total touchdowns. However, Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall and the Tigers defense was just a bit better this afternoon. Marshall ended the game with 236 passing yards, 100 rushing yards and 3 total touchdowns. The game ended as A&M’s Manziel took a sack on 4th and 13. Following the game, Auburn defensive tackle Ben Bradley took to Twitter to take a shot at A&M’s Johnny Manziel. Bradley has since taken the Tweet down and responded by Tweeting “Guess I can’t have a joke or two no more”. Manziel will continue to face more and more of these jokes if his Aggies continue to lose. Bradley should have kept the joke up as it was funny. The post After beating A&M, Auburn DT asks why he couldn’t get a Manziel Autograph appeared first on DOWN & DISTANCE - Presented by Sports-Kings.

Last week, Johnny Manziel went down with an apparent knee injury (but he returned), and a little while ago, he went down with a shoulder injury: Easy for me to say, but it didn’t look too severe. However, he had […]
This Saturday for the first time in more than a year, a ranked Auburn (5-1) ventures to College Station to try and take down the beast that is Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M (5-1).
Auburn finished last in the SEC in total offence last season, so some would say that this game is laughable. The thing people need to realize is: they went from that to having the fifth ranked offence...
This was on the final drive of the incredible 45-41 game against Auburn, and could of given the Aggies a first down. Instead they had a 4th and 13. Obviously, they couldn’t pull it off, but it sucks that the ref was standing right there and left the flag in his pocket. See the GIF below:

Texas A&M has lived on the edge the past few weeks, relying on JFF performances from Johnny Manziel to survive upset bids from Arkansas and Ole Miss. The Aggies defense hasn't done them any favors in 2013, but they still looked good enough to win the SEC West as long as Johnny Football stayed healthy.

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn knows the luxury of having that rare quarterback who can take over games and abuse defenses with his arm or his feet.
For Malzahn, it was Cam Newton, an electrifying Heisman Trophy winner who led the 24th-ranked Tigers to the 2010 national championship. The new and maybe even improved version of Newton is No. 7 Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel, an equally...

No. 7 Texas A&M's offense is rolling as usual this season behind another stellar season from Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.

A shoulder injury couldn't stop Johnny Football against Auburn on Saturday.
But in the end, a defensive stand by Auburn coupled with Texas A&M's leaky D was too much for the seventh-ranked Aggies to overcome.

Auburn is not the push-over it was last year. Combine their improvements with Texas A&M's trouble stopping the run and two interceptions by Johnny Manziel and we have a ball game on our hands folks. However, if the Aggies can continue to get the ball into the hands of wide receiver Mike Evans that could change real quick.

The Tigers are experiencing a resounding resurgence in their program, thanks in part to the work of first-year head coach Gus Malzahn, who was offensive coordinator at Auburn from 2009-11.He left to take the head coaching job at Arkansas State, leading the Red Wolves to a 9-3 season. So when Gene Chizik was let go after last season, Auburn administrators had an idea of who they wanted...
