Seeing two teammates get into a physical argument on the field is never a good sign, and is often confusing.  When two teammates get into a physical argument when they are winning in the National Championship game by a considerable margin is almost unfathomable; especially because these two are roommates and good friends.  I have never seen anything like this, too bad we will never know what they actually said to each other.  They appeared to make-up on the field right after, but it just shows how competitive everyone on Alabama really is.Barrett Jones on the shove – “That’s just how we are”— CJ Fogler (@cjzero) January 8, 2013RT @jasoncoleyahoo: Barrett Jones just said he played with a lisfranc injury that will require surgery. That’s toughness.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) January 8, 2013It will be interesting how this effects Barrett Jones draft status.  The Lisfranc injury can knock you out for a while.GIF via: @cjzero

  • Notre Dame, OVERRATED!
  • when you have competitive people stuff will happen, this is normal in the world of football
  • "but it just shows how competitive everyone on Alabama really is."

by far the most stupid thing i've ever read.
  • It's at Alabama not on it. It's obvious he wanted the snap to take advantage of a mistake by ND (there were already enough) and the center didn't catch the change in snap.
  • Geez Barrett in front of a national audience? All that time as room mates LOL and you didn't know A.J. swung from both sides of the plate?
  • Ok... move along... nothin to see here folks...

    When you're teammates, you're "brothers".
    When you're roommates, you're "brothers".

When you're teammates AND roommates, sometimes you're even CLOSER than REAL brothers! So it's nothing but two "brothers" gettin into it! No big deal!

Barrett shouldn't have done that on the field, but this article still makes more out of it than it should be! This is not newsworthy!
  • What happened to my comment, it was hilarious.
  • It's the steroids those guys are on. Makes them aggressive.
  • Oh well...Notre Dame wasn't giving them much of a fight, I guess they thought they'd just fight amongst themselves.
