The Alabama starting quarterback told reporters that he gained a few pounds while on making the rounds on the college football awards banquet season. "I gained too much weight,"McCarron meeting with the press on Thursday. ""I gained too much weight."McCarron said he weighed around 214-216 before he left Tuscaloosa to the various awards ceremonies around the East Coast. He says that when he returned he had shot up to 230 when weighing himself wearing shoulder pads. The pads weigh four pounds."On that first day I could feel it. One would expect senior Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron to have a nice memory of his last visit to the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. That’s where the Crimson Tide will meet Oklahoma on January 2 in the Sugar Bowl.
