For me personally, this is Nick Saban we are talking about so nothing should be considered a huge shock.
Alabama’s defense does not only have the depth, but their studs have been pinning their ears back and harassing everybody that has been in their way.
LSU’s offense was not expected to get much worse this season, but their BCS title performance against Alabama has carried over a bit to this year.
