In preparation for the Alabama Crimson Tide’s trip to Death Valley, Alabama fans have apparently attained LSU Tiger quarterback’s cell phone number. I’m sure they are sending him nice encouraging text messages and phone calls. It’s kind of ironic because LSU fans did the same thing to John Parker Wilson and Tim Tebow. I’m sure this will put a spark into the game of the week. Can Alabama and Nick Saban run the table and make it to a national title game or will Les Miles end the streak? Apparently Alabama fans have gotten a hold of Zach Mettenberger’s cell phone. — Bryan Fischer (@BryanDFischer) November 2, 2012 Never change SEC fans.

The most important week of the calendar year for LSU and Alabama fans has arrived, and as expected the friendly jabs are underway. Meetings of the Minds: Alabama's weakness?
Alabama is putting together a truly dominant year. To describe any part of the Crimson Tide as a "weakness" is really more a matter of degree.

Alabama-LSU lives up to the hype this time
BATON ROUGE, LA No one could call this one boring.
That, of course, was the knock on the last two meetings between Alabama and LSU, the first being settled solely on the feet of the field goal kickers and the second, the BCS Championship Game, being another defensive slugfest that put many on the east coast asleep before halftime.
Not this one.
Unlike the other two, this year...
