The Alabama vs Arkansas predictions will most likely favor the Alabama Crimson Tide, but there is reason to believe the Razorbacks can make a statement.

The Arkansas Razorbacks are off arguably the worst loss in the school’s history. They will be playing without their best player as quarterback Tyler Wilson will be out for the game. No one is giving the Razorbacks a shot at beating the Tide and the odds on Alabama vs Arkansas are in double-digits as the Hogs are 20-point underdogs for this battle.

Alabama vs Arkansas

With all of that being said, the Hogs have a chance of winning.

The Razorbacks are not without superstars on offense. Brandon Mitchell is a stud athlete and if the Razorbacks decide for him to play quarterback he can perform admirably. If the Hogs go with Brandon Allen, they have a quality, but young superstar in the making. If Allen gets the nod, Mitchell will play wide receiver and has the size to make an impact against the Crimson Tide background.

Mitchell is getting reps at quarterback and the choice will be a game day decision.

The Razorbacks have a tandem of solid running backs to carry the load out of the backfield with Knile Davis and Dennis Johnson. Both backs have super star potential and if they can find some holes to run through they can control the line of scrimmage, open up the passing game and control the time of possession.

The Razorbacks are 20-8-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last 29 home games against a team with a winning road record and 20-6 ATS in their last 26 home games. The Razorbacks are a desperate team and they have the season on the line.

The Razorbacks have no chance of a national championship or the SEC crown if they don’t win this game. They are embarrassed and beat down and all they have left is a shot at this game. If they win this game the Louisiana-Monroe game will be an afterthought.

If they lose this season is over. This team has heart and desire and will go all out to keep this game close.

Video: Did CBS’ Verne Lundquist drop an F-bomb during the Alabama game?

Seventy-two-year-old CBS sportscaster Verne Lundquist may have dropped an F-bomb during the network’s broadcast of the Alabama vs. Arkansas game. Lundquist was live on the air chatting with broadcast partner Gary Danielson early in the fourth quarter during Alabama’s 52-0 romp over the Arkansas Razorbacks. It was such a dominating win for the Crimson Tide that Danielson and...

Arkansas facing crisis of confidence

The easiest crisis to pinpoint is the quarterback. If Tyler Wilson is less-than-full-speed on Saturday, Arkansas will almost certainly struggle, especially given how dominant Nick Sabans Alabama defense has looked in their first two games. Even playing at home in Fayetteville, and even with running back Knile Davis healthy and stronger than ever, the Hogs are a passing team....

Wilson calls Arkansas teammates quitters

After Alabama crushed Arkansas 52-0 Saturday, Razorbacks' quarterback Tyler Wilson, who didn't play due to a head injury, called his teammates out: "As a leader it sucks to see people not do their jobs and to see things go wrong."

Wilson misses practice, uncertain for 'Bama

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -- Arkansas coach John L. Smith says quarterback Tyler Wilson didn't practice Thursday and his status remains uncertain Saturday's game with No. 1 Alabama. Wilson, who missed the second half of the Razorbacks' loss to Louisiana-Monroe last week with a head injury, went through a light practice Wednesday, but Smith says the quarterback was "...

Arkansas to take on Alabama without Tyler Wilson

Arkansas definitely looked like they had a shot to contend in the SEC East this season, and one of the main reasons was their start quarterback, Tyler Wilson. But last week the Razorbacks lost Wilson to an injury, and according to sources he wont play in this weekend’s game. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the #1 ranked Crimson Tide are in town. The Razorbacks already slipped...
