Hey remember way back at the beginning of the college football season when the Arkansas Razorbacks were the No. 8 ranked team in the nation? Well, that long ago time was actually just three weeks ago. Since that time Arkansas has been an absolute disaster on the football field and it will likely cost interim head coach John L. Smith his job. After an opening week win against Jacksonville State (an FCS school) Arkansas has gone 0-3 against FBS competition. The Razorbacks have now lost consecutive home games to Louisiana-Monroe (34-31 in overtime), Alabama (52-0) and Rutgers (35-26). That puts them 0-3 against FBS competition this season. After all the drama surrounding Bobby Petrino this offseason, Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long probably doesn’t want to fire Smith during the season, but at this rate he may not have a choice. After all, against Rutgers this past weekend, the Razorbacks had starting quarterback Tyler Wilson back in the lineup and he even threw for more than 400 ...
