Looks like a standout cornerback from rising football program Baylor has found himself in some hot water. Ahmad Dixon was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging him with a misdemeanor assault.
A warrant issued for his arrest says Dixon assaulted a 21-year-old man back on Sept. 16 after Dixon believed the victim had broken into his home.
The victim did not require hospitalization but did suffer injuries to his face, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.
Dixon posted bond but there has been no word from coach Art Briles yet. The Bears are on a bye week this week anyway. We know Baylor is starting to get good when their players are getting arrested like the big boys of college football.
