Last week, we saw a Florida State “SEC Champions” ring given to former Seminoles offensive tackle Menelik Watson. This time around, we’ve got the wrong score on a Holiday Bowl ring the Baylor Bears players received.
But this one isn’t a mistake.
Baylor tweeted out a “49 Days Until Kickoff” promo on Saturday with a photo of the Holiday Bowl ring that reads a final score of 49-19. Except the score, according to the NCAA, was officially 49-26. Why the discrepancy?

This is why.
As you can see, Bruins wide receiver Logan Sweet is clearly stopped before the goal line as time expires. But the play was never reviewed, and the touchdown (signalled incorrectly) counted. Clearly, coach Art Briles and Baylor do not agree.
