Baylor was able to pull off the upset of No.5 ranked Oklahoma 45-38 this past Saturday night, thanks in large part to the stellar play of Bears QB Robert Griffin III, who finished the game with some gaudy numbers (21-25 for 478 yards and 4 TDS plus 84-yards rushing).  A big chunk of those passing yards, 87 of them to be exact, came on a flukey play in the third quarter that knotted the game up at 24.

As you’ll see in the video below, Baylor was looking at a 2nd and 13 from their own 13-yard line.  RGIII sets up in the shotgun formation, drops back to pass, but the ball never makes it to the intended target.  Rather, the football gets tipped by a Sooners defender, then travels nearly 20-yards to Baylor WR Kendall Wright, who appears to have continued running his route full speed, because he catches the tipped pass in stride before taking it to the house for the score.

Video of the ridiculous touchdown follows the jump…

Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good.
