Found September 16, 2013 on BlackSportsOnline:
This past Saturday, Bo Pelini’s Nebraska team was destroyed yet again by a good opponent. This really isn’t a big surprise since it has happened every year he has been head coach but now the pressure is mounting. Most notably, Husker legend and the best option QB in college football history Tommie Frazier had this to say on Twitter over the weekend: After letting it sink in for about 4 hours I still struggling. It’s time to get rid of the defensive play caller, the Dc, lb dl and db coaches. I hate saying this but this crap is getting old. How in the hell do you not make adjustments or put your players in the position to compete? If this is what is going to happen for the remainder of the season, count me out. I don’t care if we lose a game but the way we are losing is just not what #Nebraska fans deserve. I have fought, bled, and cried over this program. I didn’t do all that for the program to become what it has today. Time for change! I will comment about the offense this week on Tommie’s X’s and O’s. Trust me you don’t want to miss it. #Huskers So today during Bo’s press conference, he was of course asked about the tweet: "If he feels that way, so be it. We don't need him." — Bo Pelini on weekend tweet by Tommie Frazier. — Brian Rosenthal (@HuskerExtraBR) September 16, 2013 By the way, Tommie Frazier was honored this weekend at halftime of the latest Nebraska loss for being inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Tommie Frazier has done something that Bo Pelini has not and will likely ever do, bring Lincoln a championship. These types of comments will make the chorus of people calling for his job only louder.  He needs to fall back and I hope he takes that back ASAP since he is two steps away from being a defensive coordinator somewhere else next season.

Bo Pelini drops f-bombs during 2011 rant about media, fans

Bo Pelini has entered a time of great uncertainty in his career as the head football coach at Nebraska. After a tough loss at UCLA on Saturday, former Cornhuskers quarterback Tommie Frazier ranted on Twitter about how the program deserves better and is in need of a change. Pelini later fired back by saying the […]

Pelini rips fans, media in leaked audio

Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini was already having a bad 72 hours. First his team gave up 38 unanswered points in a loss to UCLA on Saturday, after being up 21-3 late in the second quarter. Then it was a feud with former Husker great Tommie Frazier -- who won two national championships with the Huskers. But things might have even got worse for Pelini on Monday afternoon. Deadspin...

Pelini: We don't need Frazier

Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says if Tommie Frazier doesn't like how he's running the football program, he doesn't need his support. Frazier, who quarterbacked the Cornhuskers' unbeaten national championship teams in 1994 and '95, ripped the direction of the program on Twitter hours after Nebraska squandered an 18-point lead in a 41-21 loss to UCLA on Saturday. ...

Why Has Bo Pelini Received More Slack Than Frank Solich?

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have a mess on their hands. The players are fine; yes, even after the debacle against UCLA. No, its the head coach, Bo Pelini. He's come under fire for not only the meltdown, but for his 'fiery' behavior and personality. I get that the university is discussing what to do about him, if anything, but I have one question that I was hoping a member...

Nebraska columnist responds to Bo Pelini's comments about him in now-infamous rant.

Omaha World-Herald columnist Tom Shatel was one of the targets of Nebraska head football coach Bo Pelini's now-infamous napalm-all-the-bridges profanity-laden rant from 2011 that has gone viral. Naturally, Shatel has responded to Pelini in his latest column. "I heard the audio. I read the comments. No apology is necessary. I've been cursed at by better coaches...

Bo Pelini Apologizes For Profane Tirade Against Fans In 2011

Today was not a good day for Nebraska head football coach Bo Pelini. First, he was called out by legend Tommie Frazier, and naturally, he decided to fire back, stating “we don’t him him.” Then, his afternoon got even worse when Deadspin released audio of a tirade that occurred in 2011 after a Nebraska win. Pelini was frustrated with fans, and when he thought he wasn’t being...

Tommy Frazier vs. Bo Pelini: Nebraska Mad

My, my, sure appears that the faithful followers of the Nebraska Cornhuskers (a) have short memories and (b) both the fans and coaches have awfully thin skin. The Cornhusker faithful were rather vocal after their school got trounced by the UCLA Bruins on Saturday night in Lincoln 41-21. And no, while the team hasn't returned to their success of the 1970's,...

Bo Pelini Trades Jabs With Former Nebraska QB Tommie Frazier

Nebraska coach Bo Pelini is already taking plenty of heat from the fanbase after Saturday’s loss to UCLA. But the criticism isn’t coming...

Bo Pelini about to get shucked at Nebraska, Frost a hot replacement candidate

Bo Pelini's seat at Nebraska is so hot he'll be standing up for the remainder of his certain-to-be-brief career as Cornhusker-in-Chief.  Clubbed 41-21 at home by UCLA last week, Pelini's squad gave up 31 points in the second half and blew an 18-point lead. Former Nebraska quarterback and College Football Hall of Famer Tommie Frazier fired off an angry tweet during...

Huskers QB Martinez has turf toe

Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez missed practice Tuesday, putting his availability for Saturday's game against South Dakota State in question. Coach Bo Pelini said Martinez was wearing a walking boot on his left foot the last two days because of turf toe. Senior Ron Kellogg III or redshirt freshman Tommy Armstrong Jr. would start against the Jackrabbits if Martinez can...

Meeting of the Minds: What's up at Nebraska?

Forget about Texas and USC. What's going on with Nebraska? Photo: USA Today Sports While all of college football's hot-seat talk seems to center in both Austin and Los Angeles, a new group seems to have emerged as "The Most Disgruntled Fan-Base." That honor goes to Nebraska, which saw a 21-3 lead against UCLA evaporate Saturday, and end with the Bruins scoring...

Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez missed practice Tuesday, putting his availability for Saturday's game against South Dakota State in question. Bo Pelini Appears On Bill King Show, “Has An Idea” Who Leaked Audio Tape, Wants Investigation

Photo via @BoPelini Bo Pelini has been under fire this week since Deadspin’s release of a 2011 audio tape that features the Nebraska coach unleashing a profanity-laced tirade against the Cornhuskers’ fans, in which he proclaims “F*** you fans. F*** all of you.” It was unclear why this video was suddenly leaked, but Deadspin’s informant provided the following explanation...
