Found August 12, 2013 on The Cardinal Connect:
With the 2013 College Football Season less than three weeks ago, the folks at Bovada have released updated odds for the 2013 Heisman race. Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater had 12/1 odds when they were initially released in early July. As of today, Bridgewater’s odds are 15/2. Current Heisman Odds Braxton Miller, QB, Ohio State: 5/1 Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina: 7/1 Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville: 15/2 AJ McCarron, QB, Alabama: 10/1 Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia: 12/1 Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M: 12/1 Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon 12/1 Considering the weapons that Bridgewater has around him and the lack of legitimate competition on the schedule, his numbers will likely be Heisman worthy. However, the overall success of the team will play a big role in Teddy’s Heisman chances. Regardless if Louisville is in the national title hunt, I’d say that as long as Teddy plays at least as well as last year, he’ll be the first player in school history to be invited to the Heism...

Louisville, Bridgewater face high expectations

Louisville and the Cardinals junior quarterback Teddy Bridgewater have a tough act to follow this season. They consider last year's 11-2 finish and 33-23 Sugar Bowl upset of Florida as proof of what happens when everybody executes. Given little chance of hanging with the heavily favored Gators on Jan. 2, Louisville dominated to earn the program's biggest BCS bowl victory...

Louisville 2013 Season Preview: The Cards May Fall Right

The 2013 version of the Louisville Cardinals enter the season with the most hype since the 2007 season. The Cardinals are coming off a surprising beat down of SEC power Florida in the Sugar Bowl last season. The Cardinals beat the Gators 33-23 in a game where the score wasn't an indicator of just how bad the margin really was throughout the game. Louisville is led by one of the...

Michigan Football Player Making Money on Autographs--And He Should!

There has been a ton of talk lately about college football players signing autographs. Who knows what if anything will happen to Texas A&M and Johnny Manziel (whole deal sounds like a set up by autograph brokers to me); South Carolina says Jadaveon Clowney is in the clear as did Louisville in regards to Teddy Bridgewater. The whole mess could potentially bring about some...

UofL disallows autographs on fan day; some thoughts

Ninety-nine times out of one hundred, I agree with everything the University of Louisville athletic department does. Between the success of the teams, both academically and athletically, and profitability of the department as a whole, I have to really try hard to find fault in the decisions they make. However, when it comes to disallowing autographs on the football team’s fan day...

Louisville Bans Autographs at Fan Day to be on the Safe Side

With all the attention that Texas A&M and more specifically quarterback Johnny Manziel is getting over his potential autographs for pay scandal it is only natural that teams become a little concerned when it comes to their players putting their name on anything. No one wants to lose the season before it even starts because someone signed an autograph or two (or thousand). ...
