Bill Koch reports that Butch Jones has turned down the chance to speak to pretty much anyone, but namely North Carolina, UCLA and Illinois. It had been reported he turned down Illinois the other day, but hearing that he's not going to talk to anyone else is a nice relief. First time in ages UC is going to a bowl game without any kind of coaching rumors. Yet. This is good news for Butch and his family, because dude is going to get paid. Anthony McClung was honored as the Big East Offensive Player of the Week. That comes off the heels of an 8 catch, 142 yard, 2 TD performance against UConn. It's the first time McClung has won the honor. He's the third Bearcat to win it this season. Zach Collaros and Isaiah Pead have both won the honor. McClung was also honored with a nomination for the Receiver Performance of the Year. Apparently this has lasted all season long.
