Dallas, TX (Sports Network) - Case Keenum ended his record-breaking collegiate career with an exclamation point, completing 45-of-69 passes for 532 yards and three touchdowns in the 20th-ranked Houston Cougars' 30-14 victory over the 24th-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions in the 2012 TicketCity Bowl. Keenum ends his career as the NCAA's career leader in passing yardage, total offense, touchdown passes and touchdowns accounted for. Houston (13-1), which came into the game with a 1-9 mark in its last 10 bowl appearances, gave Tony Levine a victory in his head coaching debut. Levine became the head man after Kevin Sumlin left for Texas A&M. Patrick Edwards caught nine passes for 228 yards and two touchdowns for the Cougars, who set a school record with 13 wins this season. The 13 victories is the most ever by a Conference USA member.
