Can we give Geno Smith the Heisman already It was early on Saturday morning when I decided to go on YouTube and watch West Virginia Mountaineers QB Geno Smith. I found 2 of his games, the first being against the Clemson Tigers in the Orange Bowl, the second earlier in the year against the LSU Tigers. I came away from the tape simply blown away by the tools this young man has, and with the early hype that surrounded his senior season verified, I turned on the tv and got ready to watch him play against the Bears. 4 quarters later and I am convinced that is the greatest performance I have ever seen by a player at any level, high school, college and even the NFL. If you missed the game, you missed out on one of the greatest shootouts in recent memory. While Baylor put up a whopping 63 points, it was no match for the Mountaineers 70 points.
