Charlie Strong and the Louisville football program picked up their eighth commitment from the 2014 class on Saturday afternoon.
Desean Blair, a 6-foot-4 185-pound wide receiver from Jacksonville, FL., verbally committed to Louisville while on an unofficial visit. This was Blair’s second unofficial visit to the school in the last three weeks.
Blair is rated as a 3-star prospect and is regarded as one of the top 75 receivers in the country. He holds scholarship offers from Vanderbilt, Maryland and Iowa State.
The Jacksonville native finished his junior season with 36 receptions for 671 yards and 10 touchdowns at Sandalwood High School.
With the eight current commitments, Louisville’s 2014 recruiting class is now regarded as one of the top 20 classes in the country.
