Charlie Strong has picked up three verbal commitments from the 2014 class within the last week, putting the total number of commitments at thirteen. Having thirteen commitments in mid-May is pretty impressive. At this time last year, Louisville had only five commitments for the 2013 class.
With thirteen three star commitments; Louisville’s 2014 class now ranked No. 9 in the country by 247Sports.com. Louisville is the only school ranked in the top ten to not currently have a commitment from a four or five star recruit.

The Cardinals have landed two commitments this weekend and 11 in a month. Now, one of the top running backs in the country tells Cardinal Authority that he will visit the Cardinals.
When Charlie Strong came to Louisville, the progress of the team coming off the Kragthorpe era was as motionless as the chain of Cardinal cabooses behind PJCS.
