I’m not sure if it was intentional or not, but Cincinnati starting quarterback Munchie Legaux has certainly given Louisville some bulletin board material for Friday night’s match-up. When asked by the media this afternoon if he saw any similarities between himself and Teddy Bridgewater, Legaux simply responded “I’m better.” I’m sure every quarterback has to maintain a certain level of confidence in order to perform at a high level, but making a statement like that to the media is pretty ballsy. Maybe I’m biased, but I doubt there are many people who would argue that Muchie Legaux is a better quarterback than Teddy Bridgewater. Toledo wants no part of that argument, Munchie. Legaux is a talented player for sure, but I’m assuming he hasn’t watched much game film on Louisville yet. Bridgewater has clearly been the best quarterback in the Big East this year, particularly in conference play.
