Another season of college football has arrived! Each week, the CFG staff will chime in with their start-sit recommendations. Pay attention as these guys know their stuff.*Note: At CFG we strive to provide a variety of expert opinions.  Some of these opinions contradict each other, or disagree with the FFCPI, and we're cool with that. Our goal is to give you as much info as possible so that you can form your own final lineup decisions.  By the way, look for the updated FFCPI later this afternoon prior to kickoff of tonight's games.  There will be MANY changes from its initial raw release on Tuesday.START 'EMAaron Murray - Georgia vs. ClemsonThe Georgia offense should be explosive this year and Murray will be leading the charge through the air. He could shred a suspect Clemson pass defense in the opening weekend’s marquee matchup. In a high-scoring contest, look for Murray to easily eclipse the 300-yard mark and add a few TD tosses to boot.STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT      Shane Carden – East Carolina vs. Old DominionThis game could be an absolute shoot-out with both teams possessing potent offenses. Carden could easily torch ODU for well over 300 yards through the air and add a few scores. There could be plenty of fireworks in Greenville on Saturday night.STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT         Stephen Morris – Miami, FL vs. Florida AtlanticMiami has an offense loaded with experience coming back for 2013. A strong running game lead by RB Duke Johnson and a veteran o-line will make Morris’ job much easier this year. Look for Morris to provide a solid QB2 option in full NCAA leagues.STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASIBlake Bortles – Central Florida vs. AkronI’m big on playing returning players in the early season to avoid risk. Bortles has a great match-up and he has been overlooked in many drafts. Bortles could be available in many leagues and serve a good spot start role for your line-up.STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASINick Marshall- Auburn vs. Washington StateI’m buying what Gus Malzahn is selling, at least early on. Marshall should start his Auburn quarterback career off on a high note since he is facing a struggling Washington State defense.STAFF PICK – RYAN MOSSStephen Morris – Miami vs. FAUMorris finished 2012 on a hot streak and I expect that to continue against a weak FAU defense.  He’ll need to get some momentum going before the Gators come to town next week.STAFF PICK – RYAN MOSSSIT 'EMJohnny Manziel –Texas A&M vs. Rice“Johnny Football” has had a tumultuous off-season and has the NCAA breathing down his neck. Now we know he'll miss the first half against Rice.  While this is good news long-term for fantasy owners, it's not worth plugging him into your lineup for maybe one half of action.  Wait to unleash Johnny Fantasy in Week 2.STAFF PICK – KEVIN MOUNT         Brett Smith - Wyoming vs. TexasSmith seems poised to have a fine fantasy season in 2013, but that likely will have to wait until Week 2. The Nebraska pass defense ranked 4th in the country last season and could make Smith’s day very frustrating. Fantasy owners may want to wait on starting Smith.STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT         Brandon Mitchell – NC State vs. Louisiana TechIn the early season you need to minimize risk and avoid early losses. NC State won’t name a starter until game time which should make fantasy owners a little nervous. Play it safe and wait to see how this QB battle shakes out before plugging Mitchell in your line-up.STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASI   Clint Trickett – West Virginia vs. William & MaryWord out of West Virginia is that both Trickett and Paul Millard will play in the season opener. While the match-up is very juicy, the smart move is to play it safe and avoid a split snap scenario like this one.STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASI    Logan Thomas- Virginia Tech vs. AlabamaThis is supposed to be a bounce back year for Thomas, but it won’t start in week 1. Playing with an inexperienced group of receivers and a injury/suspension depleted backfield is not a good combination against Alabama.STAFF PICK – RYAN MOSSKeith Price – Washington vs. Boise StatePrice is coming off a very disappointing 2012 season and starts 2012 with a underappreciated Boise State defense. Price’s effectiveness will also be hurt if his top target Austin Sferian-Jenkins isn’t medically cleared to play.STAFF PICK – RYAN MOSS
