Another week of college fantasy action is in the books. It wasn't nearly as crazy as the week prior, but there were still some valuable lessons learned.

1. The Oklahoma offense put up 41 points, but the Sooners are still maddening as hell. Where are the yards and touchdowns going to come from? Nobody knows.

2. John Hubert is vulturing Collin Klein's TDs. He has 8 TDs on 76 carries this fall after hitting paydirt only 3 times in 200 carries a year ago. By comparison, Klein has 7 TDs on 73 attempts.

3. We were drooling all over West Virginia running back Andrew Buie prior to LAST year. He disappointed in 2011, and we cooled on him considerably. Guess we were a year too early.

4. The Clemson offense put up 601 yards on Saturday, and Sammy Watkins only accounted for 46 of them. Yikes.

5. In 2011, Penn State QB Matt McGloin passed the ball 231 times for 1,571 yards and 8 TDs. Through six games this year, he's posted 221 pass attempts, 1,499 yards and 12 TDs. He's also RUSHED for 5 TDs. The schedule gets considerably more difficult down the stretch, but it's worth noting that new head coach Bill O'Brien is putting his stamp on the offense. While this might not be fantasy news in 2012, it's something to consider in the future.

6. Note to self: think twice before starting anyone against the Notre Dame, BYU or Oregon State defense. They are legit fantasy killers.

7. Nick Harwell was back in action for Miami (OH) after missing the last month with a knee injury. He was limited, but still managed to post 5-40-1. If he can get closer to 100 percent healthy down the stretch, he could make some serious noise during the fantasy playoffs.

8. Cody Fajardo's back injury comes at a dubious time for fantasy owners. Nevada has UNLV, San Diego State and Air Force up next before a Week 10 bye. All three of those games would be ripe for fantasy gold for Fajardo. He isn't expected to attempt to practice until Wednesday this week. If he can't practice on Wednesday, he'll sit out the UNLV game.

9. It's hard to believe, but UCLA RB Johnathan Franklin hasn't scored a rushing touchdown SINCE AUGUST! He's racking up the yards, but obviously not the scores.

10. Charles Sims is a beast. That is all.

11. The wheels are falling off the TCU season. With all of the transfers and injuries at the running back position, and now QB Casey Pachall possibly being suspended for the remainder of the season, there isn't much to hang your fantasy hat on outside of maybe WR Brandon Carter.

12. Don't look now, but MAC-tion is starting to kick into high gear. Points scored this week in the MAC: Ohio 38, Buffalo 31, Kent State 41, Western Michigan 52, Northern Illinois 35, Toledo 50, Central Michigan 35... they're just getting warmed up, folks.
