Someone told me yesterday was a huge day for college football. What, I missed a big game? Ugggh! It was just National Signing Day. I guess I'm the rare college football fan who has no interest whatsoever in what happens on the first Wednesday of February every year. So some physical freak of a wide receiver named Dorial Green-Beckham spurned a bunch of big-time programs to play for Missouri. Yep, didn't care. Now if he's playing in the fall for Gary Pinkel and actually makes an impact in the SEC, then I'll care.   Look, I get all of the excitement and speculation that comes with this big day. If your team signs a bunch of 4- and 5-star players then you think the future is set. But is it really? OK, LSU and Alabama are loaded with this type of talent and those two played for the BCS National Championship. Nineteen standout student-athletes have signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to attend the University of Missouri and play football for Head Coach Gary Pinkel, as announced today. As of early afternoon, the class of newest Tigers has been rated as the 20th-best in the country according to ESPNU.
