Cowboys leading receiver Josh Stewart said earlier this week that he is really impressed with several of the young receivers in practice. Stewart said freshman Marcell Ateman is really impressing as are redshirt freshman JhaJuan Seales and senior John Goodlett, who was recently awarded a scholarship. Photo: Oklahoma State Coach Mike Gundy Gives Out “Iron Cowboys” Medals For Weight Room Accomplishments

The weight room is an important place for college football players. Much of how an athlete performs on the field stems from their dedication to logging long, hard hours getting bigger and stronger at the team’s facility. Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy certainly knows how much it matters – he’s giving out “Iron Cowboys” awards to top weight room performers. Sure, maybe...

Passers-by were able to view from a long distance the team working out inside the Sherman Smith Training Center and on the new Astroturf field to the east of...

Turning Up The Heat With Full Pads

STILLWATER -- Tuesday's practice was the first full practice in pads and it was the longest practice so far in fall camp for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. They were on the field a little over three hours including the pre-practice routine, but the actual practice ran about two and a half hours on the grass practice fields east of Gallagher-Iba Arena.
