Former Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, the team announced. Weeden was released March 12 by the Browns after being a first-round draft pick of the Browns (22nd overall) in 2012. Weeden was 5-15 as a starter for the Browns, but had one of his best games against the Cowboys in 2012 when the Browns lost in overtime, 23-20 to the Cowboys. He threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. Overall, Weeden was 438-of-784 for 5,116 yards with 23 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. His rating in that period was 71.8. In 2013, Weeden started five games and was 141-of-267 for 1,731 yards with 9 touchdowns and 9 interceptions and a rating of 70.3. The Browns lost all five games that he started, but did defeat the Bills when Weeden replaced the injured Brian Hoyer.
