Dayne Crist will transfer from Notre Dame after he graduates in December. This is no surprise. Crist has been through the ringer throughout his Notre Dame career; be it injuries or Brian Kelly's preference of Tommy Rees. Although the Tribune article lists Wisconsin, San Diego State, and Utah as possible destinations- I'm sure we will know much more real soon. I highly doubt Crist practices with the team for the bowl game- let alone travels with the team. Crist has a HUGE decision to make, and he will need to look into where he will now play ball. That means visits. Dayne will want to be with his new team in time for Spring ball, so this only makes sense.I feel that Crist got dealt a bit of a crummy hand while at Notre Dame, but he is such a top notch person, I doubt that you will ever hear a bad word about the school, program, and even Kelly himself come from Crist's mouth.Good luck to Dayne as he moves on with his career.

  • Dayne is a class act . My hope is that he ends up with Charlie and wins the national championship next year and tells Jenkins , Swarbrick , and Kelly to kiss his ass .

I have never seen a coach try to destroy a kid the way Kelly did Crist .It was classless but idicative of the " New Notre Dame " .

May the wind be at your back young man !
