Bowling Green vs. #24 San Jose State RFK Stadium, Washington, DC Thursday, December 27th, 3:00 PM on ESPN The Military Bowl began as the EagleBank Bowl in 2008 as an opportunity to showcase the ACC, Conference USA, and service academy teams to fans in the DC area. For the first time ever, this year's game won't feature any of the tie-ins, instead plucking Bowling Green from the MAC and San Jose State from the WAC. It's the Falcons' fifth bowl appearance this decade after missing the postseason from 1992 to 2002. The Spartans are making their first bowl appearance since 2006, and second since 1990.
