The Discover Fan Loyalty Poll released their latest results that included who fans prefer to wager against, as well as what they are willing to risk if their favorite NCAA Football team does not come through for them. Speaking from strictly friendly terms, most of the fans prefer to wager with a friend, while many others choose to roll the dice against their spouse or another family member. I suppose the more they are willing to wager, the riskier the bet becomes.
As with many things, fans will support their favorite teams through and through. That will cause them to wager more and more. If they win, all is well. If they lose, things are not quite as good. Especially if you lose a wager to a friend or family member or colleague that forces you to have to live without one of your favorites devices – or vices – for the next month. That was the question posed to fans across the country in the latest results of the Discover Fan Loyalty Poll.
Here is a look at the complete results from t...

All the Hot Seat talk surrounding Auburn head football coach Gene Chizik may finally be getting to him. On his weekly radio program, Chizik may have inadvertently admitted that in all probability he would be fired at or by the end of the season when discussing Saturday's rivalry game against Georgia.
"A game like this, our team really feels a responsibility to go out...
After yielding an atrocious 730 yards of offense in last week’s 62-51 loss to Oregon, embattled University of Southern California (USC) head coach Lane Kiffin is under intense scrutiny to axe the team’s defensive coordinator, his 72-year-old father, Monte. The … Continue reading →
For the last few weeks there seems to have been little doubt that Gene Chizik will be fired as head coach of the Auburn football team.
On Wednesday a report surfaced that the beginning stages of the process may have already begun.
The reports came via a paid link on the 247Sports.com Auburn affiliate, AuburnUndercover.com, and indicated that Auburn president Jay Gogue has informed...
Auburn coach Gene Chizik talks about the play of Jonathan Wallace, injuries, the future of the program, and more.
LOS ANGELES Inevitably, if you are fortunate enough to have a father you revere live long enough, there comes a time where you have to begin searching for reminders of the man you once knew.
They gradually become obscured by uncertainty, frailty and other diminishing curses of age that no amount of determination can seem to beat back.
Now imagine that you are not only this mans...
USC Coach Lane Kiffin says no one on the coaching staff or team knew about a student-manager deflating game balls during the Trojans' game against Oregon.
Well, let’s give Gene Chizik credit for this: If Saturday’s 38-0 loss to Georgia proved anything, it’s that if the Auburn coach was going down, he was going down in style. Like they have most of the year, the Tigers were overwhelmed from start to finish, as the Tigers got beat down in most unceremonious way possible.
For Georgia, the victory was just about as easy as they...
USC’s Head Coach Lane Kiffin has done some pretty shady stuff during his time as a College Football Head Coach. Whether it’s piling up secondary NCAA violations at Tennessee, or having his backup quarterback wear his kickers’ jersey, he’s built up quite a reputation for himself. This time though, USC is in the headlines for something a Student Manager did.On USC’s website...
As if the first go round wasn’t enough, strike up the “Reuben Foster to Georgia” chatter yet again, now that it’s becoming even more likely that Auburn Tigers head coach Gene Chizik won’t be welcome on The Plains for much longer. The Georgia Bulldogs embarrassed the Tigers 38-0 this past Saturday, in a game that wasn’t even close to competitive–the Bulldogs started...
USC Coach Lane Kiffin's postgame press conference after USC defeats ASU 38-17, improving to 7-3 overall and 5-3 in the Pac-12.
(Eds: With AP Photos.) By JIM LITKE AP Sports Columnist School officials at Southern California fired a student manager after he admitted taking the air out of some footballs before last week's home game against Oregon.
Good. Now they can resume searching for who took the wind out of Lane Kiffin's sails.
Just kidding about that last part, if only because Kiffin hardly needs...
