Early Saturday morning, Missouri WR Dorial Green-Beckham was arrested on drug charges. The original charges that were filed by the Springfield police are for " felony distribution, delivery, manufacture or production of a controlled substance". According to Dave Matter, of the St Louis Post-Dispatch, the Springfield police department will not comment on the arrest until Monday and have stated that it's an "ongoing investigation".
Green-Beckham was the #1 ranked overall prospect, according to Scout.com, in the 2012 recruiting class. This past season, as a sophomore, DGB broke out as he led the Tigers in receptions (59) and receiving TDs (12).
This is DGB's second arrest since he's been on campus. In 2012, he was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession and served a one game suspension.
