Four Thoughts surrounding Tobacco Road Football The Duke Blue Devils are in a situation no one would have thought heading into this weekend when the Hurricanes come to town.  The Duke Blue Devils can win the Coastal division by winning out as long as they receive a little help from Dabo Swiney and the Clemson Tigers.  David Cutcliffe is the coach of the year in the ACC despite how great Florida State has played.  The Blue Devils will need to shore up an unusual sporadic passing game from last week against NC State if they have any shot at beating Miami. NC State’s offense has not improved this season even with the return of Brandon Mitchell. What is the future like for the Wolfpack at quarterback?  Sitting out this season is Florida transfer Jacoby Brissett.  After watching Jeff Driskell this season you have to wonder how good Brissett really is if he could not win the job in Florida. North Carolina’s defense has played well over the last five games however is there improvement a product of scheduling or improved play? The Tar Heel secondary has improved however they will certainly be tested by Tom Savage when they visit Pitt this week. Jim Grobe said Wake Forest would need to play a great game to have a chance to beat Florida State.  What he meant was that the Demon Deacons and the Seminoles would need to trade jerseys each half to make the game competitive.  Without Michael Campanaro I am not positive Wake will find any offense the rest of the season.
