ESPN’s accuscore projects Michigan to defeat Iowa 32-30, teamrankings.com is predicting a 25-23 Iowa victory.

Denard Robinson needs 23 rushing yards to pass Gordon Bell and move into 9th place on Michigan’s career rushing list. He needs 104 passing yards to move past Rick Leach and into 9th place on the all-time passing list.

With one more touchdown, Robinson will tie Tom Harmon and Billy Taylor for 7th most in school history (30).

Roy Roundtree needs 65 receiving yards to move past Jim Smith and into 15th place on Michigan’s career receiving yardage list. Junior Hemingway needs 5 yards to move past Ralph Clayton and into 21st place.

After not registering a tackle in the first two games of the season, Craig Roh now leads Michigan with 7 TFLs and is tied for the team lead with 3 sacks.

Michigan has been flagged for 34 penalties totaling 309 yards in eight games. They rank 1st in the Big Ten and are tied for 9th in the nation in fewest penalties per game. 

Desmond Morgan (Fr) made the second start of his career last week and responded with a team-high 9 tackles.

Michigan has outscored it’s opponents 135-49 in the 2nd half and 76-21 in the 4th quarter this season.

Brendan Gibbons has converted on 6 of 8 field goal attempts this season.

Michigan has recorded more than 500 yards of total offense in three of its last four games

Michigan’s defense ranks 2nd in the Big Ten and 6th nationally in scoring defense. They also lead the nation in red zone defense and rank 12th in the nation in turnovers forced (20).

Denard Robinson on Jeremy Gallon: “He’s always the underdog, everybody looks at him, oh he’s a little short guy, but he gets physical, he gets in your face and he’ll go get the ball.”
