Ross: Toledo was one of several MAC teams that had strong seasons this year -- they finished 9-3 overall, with the three losses coming by a combined 21 points. They handed Cincinnati their first loss of the season, took Arizona to overtime, and lost by just a touchdown to Orange Bowl-bound Northern Illinois. Utah State was even better -- 10-2 and their two losses were by a combined 5 points to Wisconsin and BYU. They bring a top-10 scoring defense into the game (15.4 ppg, 8th best) and an increasingly potent offense: they scored 40+ in five of their last six games. I think Utah State rolls over Toledo to cap off an impressive 11-2 campaign.
