We’ve been getting some emails from guys complaining that the only houses we run are ridiculous multi-million dollar mansions. Blah, blah, blah. Something about, “Yeah, but how some of the lesser known guys are living?” Ok, smartasses, you want to see how a seven-year vet making $1.5 million a year is rolling? Check out this suburban Chicago house that former Bears safety Chris Harris is trying to sell. The guy isn’t exactly selling a Shangri-La.

Harris is probably at the end of his career after playing eight games last season in Detroit. For a sixth-round draft pick, the guy has had a helluva career. Had a 5 INT season for the Bears in 2010. But he’s now a free agent and football is about to be in his past.

The logical move is to unload the Chicago home. Only problem? You’re about to take at least a $60k loss on a house that’s been on and off the market since 2010. Sure, the guy made some bank in his career via a nice free agent contract in Carolina. Gotta figure $60k isn’t going to kill him.

Contact his agent. Live like a former Bears safety. Your kids will think you’re the coolest dad – ever.

Highlights of Chris Harris’ Chicago Suburbia Two-Story:

• 6 bedrooms, 4 bath

• 3 car garage!

• 3200 sq. ft.

• That sweet woody basement!

• That sweet bar unlike any other in the NFL!

Asking: $329,000

Mortgage: $1,200 per before taxes and lawn service
