Shamiel Gary knew there was a reason the Oklahoma State coaching staff moved Lyndell Johnson for linebacker to strong safety prior to spring practice. He knew that despite starting every game at strong safety during the 2012 season there were those who weren’t pleased with his performance. Gary knew he needed to do something about it or he would lose his job.
