The Buffalo Bulls’ quarterback, Alex Zordich, gained 89-yards on the ground on Saturday. I can stop there, and end this post with nothing more because that fact—in and of itself—is staggering, but let me keep going and say that Alex Zordich didn’t gain 89-yards in all of last season. Of course, he wasn’t the starter at that time, and the Bulls had guys like Brandon Oliver to do most of their dirty work on the ground. That said, you would think that, if nothing else, Georgia would have done their fair share of work, this off-season, on stopping the quarterback from running the football. After all, the talk has centered mostly on Mizzou and QB James Franklin—no one even mentioned the Bulls as more than an afterthought because that game wasn’t meant to be competitive (let’s just be honest).
