After Saturday's narrow victory against Northern Iowa the company line was that this was a good thing and a great learning opportunity for the 2012 Badgers. The coaches are right, it was a major learning opportunity, but it's one that they should've already learned and here's why: Wisconsin has a history of not learning lessons from mistakes of the past. It's kind of becoming a hallmark of this program as of late. What do I mean by that? Well, just look back to last season and you'll see what I mean. In fact Shelton Johnson may have said it best in his post game interview, "It was kind of a representation of what happened last year and the things we were trying to get rid of this year." "Just big plays, it's just things like that," said Johnson.
