With just a week left in the season, Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel and Notre Dame LB Manti Te'o have nearly locked up the number one and two spots respectively in the Heisman race. It would take an unworldly performance this week by Kansas State QB Collin Klein to overtake Te'o and Manziel. Some Heisman statements could be made during championship week, but other than the top two, most contenders are too far out to win the Trophy. However, they can still sway voters to get enough votes for a trip to New York.Northern Illinois has been promoting QB Jordan Lynch strongly, but he is still lacking the national recognition needed for a Heisman Finalist.
