Time and time again, Alabama has counted on Richardson to deliver the tough yards this season. And Richardson has delivered.
Saturday was no different, as Richardson ran for 107 well-earned yards and a touchdown in Alabama’s easy victory over Vanderbilt. Richardson delivered his fifth-straight 100 yard game for the Tide, as the junior continues to impress.
Of course, SEC defenses will not always be as forgiving as the Commodores were on Saturday, but if Richardson continues to post 100-yard games week after week in the SEC, voters are sure to notice.
Red River was no last second affair this season, and was never close, as Oklahoma rode the arm of Jones and his stable of wide receivers to an easy 55-17 victory over Texas in the annual rivalry game.

Yes, Texas is young. Yes, the Longhorns were overrated at No. 11 in the country. But the beating Oklahoma put on Texas today was one normally reserved for early-season...
Landry Jones and the Oklahoma Sooners made a strong case Saturday to return to the top of the college football poll. Having slipped from first to second to third over successive weeks, the Sooners showed they deserve to be considered the best in the land with a 55-17 thrashing of No. 11 Texas. Oklahoma stomped its top rival almost as easily as it did lowly Ball State the previous...

So Oklahoma won the Red River Shootout 55-17 at the Cotton Bowl. The end of the game featured a completely full OU half of the stadium and a mostly-empty Texas half of the stadium once OU was obviously up for good, which was sometime in the second quarter.
I don’t know what Texas fan expected out of this year, exactly, but leaving early from this game is probably...
Oklahoma led by Landry Jones dominated Texas throughout this game. Each week, I will attempt to watch at least two college football games in full and post my thoughts here on Blogging Dirty after the game.First up is the demolition of Texas at the hands of Oklahoma by a score of 55- 17. In truth Texas are not good enough to be ranked #11 in the country and Oklahoma showed them that...

The Commodores (3-2, 1-2) trailed by only seven points until the final minute of the opening half, then...
Over the past few weeks, the Oklahoma Sooners have kept winning football games, but have seen their standing in the AP college football poll drop to #3, behind LSU and Alabama. They still received seven first place votes, but they still weren’t getting much respect for the voters, and they came into Saturday’s Red River Shootout with the Texas Longhorns looking to make a statement...

OKLAHOMA (-10½) vs. TEXAS • Noon ET, ABC.
What's at stake: Most directly, the driver's seat for the Big 12 championship, which Oklahoma currently possesses (along with undefeated Oklahoma State) and Texas can hijack by moving to 5-0. Less tangibly, the Longhorns are another hurdle for Oklahoma to clear to remain at the...
