To those who are new to the blog this season, we run a post each week titled "Highlight Monday" during the offseason in which we pay homage to a player, unit or team for their achievements the previous year. We'll kick things off officially next week, but since this is the first weekend without college football since August, we want to be sure to leave you with something that'll hold you over until Monday. I think Alabama's Eddie Lacy should do the trick. The junior running back rushed for 1,322 yards and 17 touchdowns during Alabama's second consecutive championship season. After the Crimson Tide suffered a disappointing home loss to Texas A&M, Lacy went into battle mode.
