Online Sports Guys:
So, the NFL Draft is a day away (Thu.) and everyone who's ever written a sports related story or talked about it on the radio has come up with their own "Mock Draft".
We don't partake in such trivial matters here at OSG Sports, but we do find some of the speculation absolutely fascinating.
Kind of like the picture you see to your right.
Yes, that's right, the day before the draft, Tyrann Mathieu, he of "Honey Badger" fame at LSU before being kicked off the team is having a party this Thursday in New York.
He took this photo on Instagram and Tweeted it to the huddled masses.
To celebrate himself being a "1st Round Draft Pick".
((UPDATED---Mathieu tweeted to FOX Sports shortly after this picture made the rounds that he did not give approval for the "For 1st Round Draft Pick" part of the flyer. We believe him, because he probably had nothing to do with writing it.))
BEST OF MAXIM
HONEY BADGER BASH
Someone might need to have a talk with former LSU defensive back Tyrann Mathieu about priorities but to be honest that talk should have been had long before this. According to the Honey Badger’s twitter page, he is hosting a party before the draft for the “first round pick” in the upcoming 2013 NFL Draft. https://twitter.com/Mathieu_Era/status/327048280347394048
It was already a bad enough idea for Tyrann Mathieu to host an NFL Draft party. When you have a reputation for having off-field problems that include a past marijuana addiction, being a party guy is not the image you wan’t to portray. But it’s also questionable when the flyer bills you as a “1st Round Draft Pick.”
Mathieu posted a picture to Instagram Wednesday of a flyer...
Matt Maiocco of the CSN Bay Area mentions that LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu a “definite possibility” for the 49ers at some point on day two.
Maiocco adds that San Francisco is unlikely to use their No. 34 overall pick on him.
Mike Jurecki tweets that the Cardinals could consider Mathieu at some point today with intention of using him at safety & corner in certain packages...
According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu passed his drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine back in February.
Fairly significant development for him personally — ex-LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu did indeed pass his combine drug test.

By most accounts, former LSU Tigers defensive back Tyrann Mathieu, best known as the Honey Badger, is expected to be a second round pick at best in this weekend's NFL Draft. However, that hasn't stopped the troubled yet talented athlete from throwing a draft party Thursday night to celebrate a first-round selection which isn't likely to happen.Matheiu tweeted out a link...
As we are less than a day away from the 2013 NFL Draft, former LSU safety Tyrann Mathieu is one of the college football prospects hoping to have his name called.
Mathieu will be in New York City before the start of the draft and it appears that he will be throwing a party before the start of the draft.
Check out the ad for the party which will be held at S&L night club...
Former LSU defensive back Tyrann Mathieu, aka the Honey Badger, must know something that the rest of us do not. How else can you explain why the man is holding a Draft Day party on Thursday?
Now had he played last season and all his troubles not come to light no one would think a thing about it. Assuming he would have played like he did two seasons ago he likely would...
Former LSU star Tyrann “Honey Badger” Mathieu, has always thought pretty highly of himself. Even after getting kicked off the LSU football team for “violation of team rules” and spending time in a drug rehab facility, he’s holding a draft party. I wonder where this kid is getting the money to pay for this party? And what a perfect place for a recovering drug addict...
Honey Badger is bad!
LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu was one of the most electric players in the NCAA. As a sophomore, Mathieu (affectionately called “Honey Badger”) was a consensus All-American. He was the defensive player of the year in the SEC. And he won the Chuck Bednarik Award, given by the Maxwell Football Club to the kid deemed be the best defensive player in NCAA Division...
IRVING, Texas Before the start of Thursday's NFL Draft, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant let everyone that follows him on Twitter know who he thought was the best player available.

Apparently, being an NFL Draft hopeful from LSU and also getting in trouble with the law aren’t mutually exclusive things.
That’s because in the midst of an NFL Draft where one of the biggest questions remains where Tyrann Mathieu will be selected after a slew of failed drug tests and an October arrest, another former Bayou Bengal was in...
